Quality is an integral part of Purdy‘s commitment to providing a professional service to all of its clients. We have a robust internal quality management system in place, which provides a fully auditable trail and ensures that quality is controlled throughout all company processes.

We have vast experience in undertaking work for small domestic projects and the mobilisation of large commercial contracts and therefore understand that every Client is different and that a “one size fits all” strategy is not appropriate.

Accreditations

All the accreditations listed below are an integral part of our management system allowing us to service the needs of our clients and to extend our services and products to new clients through the Bid process.

NICEIC Accredited

Purdy have an abundance of experience in carrying out Electrical testing, periodic electrical installation reports (both domestic and commercial), lateral mains testing, electrical planned and responsive repairs and associated works for our clients.  The NICEIC provides annual assessment and certification to ensure our compliance.

Gas Safe

All Purdy engineers are Gas Safe registered. This official list of businesses recognises operatives that are legally permitted to carry out gas work. All our engineers are issued with a Gas Safe ID cards that depict what types of gas work they are qualified to carry out.

These three SSIP (Site Safety in Procurement) accreditations are a necessity for successful bid applications. They ensure compliance across the different areas of risk management and mitigate risks across our supply chain.

These globally recognised standards contribute to business performance through the provision of a structured framework which allows for a better control of the workforce, increased output and improved profit margins.  The systems also allow for better environmental performance and Health & Safety compliance.

FORS (Fleet Operator Recognition Scheme)

We operate our Fleet under this accreditation scheme. Audited annually it demonstrates we are achieving high levels of best practice in safety, efficiency and environmental practice.

As a stipulation in respect of tendering opportunities for the mechanical element of our business we are required to have:-

  • FETA – Heat Pump Association accreditation
  • HETAS – Solid Fuel regulatory body
  • OFTEC – Oil regulatory body

This is a government endorsed quality scheme which we have attained. This is evidence that we have been thoroughly vetted to meet the required standards and have made a commitment to good customer service.

BAFE SP203-1 Fire Protection Scheme/Fire Detection & Alarm Systems

Purdy have been certified to BAFE SP203-1 Fire Protection Scheme/Fire Detection & Alarm Systems. To achieve this accreditation Purdy had to complete a set of comprehensive competency requirements that proved we had achieved the high quality standards and best working practice to operate within the fire safety industry.
