A dedicated team of staff and community partners rolled up their sleeves to participate in a clean-up around Chingford Hall Estate.
Organised in partnership with local Councillor Elizabeth Baptist, the Waltham Forest Cleansing Team, and the Safer Neighbourhood Team, this initiative was aimed at improving the local environment.
Social Value Coordinator Fay Poddington, Operational Supervisor Mario Panteli, and apprentices Nikkita Bennett, Callum Daly, and Daniel Bowes alongside Peabody members, residents, and local police to tackle litter in the streets and communal spaces.
Our team not only made a visible difference but also had a great time bonding with the community and our partners. As Fay Poddington shared, “It was inspiring to see everyone come together for a common cause, showing what we can accomplish when we work hand-in-hand with the local community.”
This initiative is just one example of how we are committed to social value and giving back to the communities we serve. We extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who took part in transforming this neighbourhood into a cleaner and more welcoming place for residents and look forward to more opportunities to make a positive impact.
