The Kinovo Group, including Purdy, Spokemead and Dunhams, have signed up to the Armed Forces Covenant to show its commitment to employing and supporting ex-military personnel moving into the civilian working environment. The Armed Forces Covenant is a promise by the nation ensuring that those who serve, or who have served in the armed forces, and their families, should be fairly treated and face no disadvantage.

Lauren Parkinson, Group HR Manager at the Kinovo Group comments: “Signing up to the Covenant is a great way of formalising our commitment to supporting the personnel that serve in the armed forces and their families. Whether this is offering employment opportunities when they leave the military or providing an understanding and supportive environment for families of serving personnel.

“From a recruitment perspective, we have long recognised that those who have served in the armed forces, whether that’s the Army, Navy or Royal Air Force, have developed a variety of transferable skills and qualities throughout their military careers that can bring huge benefits to our business. In addition, we pledge to provide flexible employment opportunities for service spouses and partners,

“As a group, we are committed to ensuring that our people have the support and training necessary to be the best they can be within the roles, but experience tells us that The Armed Forces are renowned for offering their people fantastic training opportunities and we’re keen to talk to any ex-forces personnel that are interested in starting a career in property maintenance.”
