Getting under the skin of social value and how to create maximum impact from funds, is a hot debate. Our Group Head of Social Value and Marketing, Pippa Pang, tackled the subject head on alongside Neel Bidessie and Jamie Dickinson MBA in a Mind Lab presentation at the Better Together Customer Summit organised by Travis Perkins Managed Services.
All too often just seen as one-off ‘volunteering’ or ‘community initiatives’, Pippa demonstrated how social value is so much more than this and importantly, she also showed how working together with the whole supply chain and the communities in which they’re working, a contractor can act as a ‘connector’ to create high value impact in the most cost-effective ways.
The Better Homes Customer Summit event started with the Social Value awards. Congratulations to all the winners:
🏆 People – Clarion Housing Group
🏆 Environment – Cottsway Housing Association
🏆 Community – St Leger Homes of Doncaster
🏆 Economy – Abri Group
🏆 We Care – Flagship
As a massive advocate for best practice in social value, it was inspiring for the Kinovo team to see the fantastic work being carried out in the Social Housing sector. Pippa was also invited to be amongst the judging panel for one of the awards, reflecting impact the Group’s commitment to social value is having in the sector. In collaboration with our customers and supply chain partners, we’re committed to keeping the positivity, innovation and positive energy going, to make a real difference to people’s lives.
