We were thrilled to recently have been invited by B3 to assist on a project at The Friary, one of their ‘Living Independent’ living schemes, to create a new outdoor area for residents to enjoy.
The project included Stuart Eley and Daniel Bevan meeting with Keiley Delieu, Team Leader, and the residents to ascertain what they would all like from the green space. Together, they created a vision that met the residents’ needs and work commenced a few weeks later!
It was all hands on deck on the first day for the Purdy team, which included several Supervisors and multiple electrical apprentices to help Richard McNamara, the builder, deliver the project. The apprentices particularly enjoyed the work as a change from their day to day jobs and an opportunity to learn some more general building skills.
“I can share that as a team, we are delighted with the outcome of this project. Those that have visited and worked on site have been a pleasure, works have gone just as described and we have been kept up to date throughout. Customers have gathered on the patio area, and additional people are now joining because the patio is in place. Everyone is happy and keen for some better weather and are thinking about the possibility of a scheme BBQ.” Keiley Delieu, Team Leader at B3 Living Independent Living
