About NiCEIC accreditation

NiCEIC is the UK electrical contracting industry’s independent voluntary body and Purdy Contracts is an accredited member. The NiCEIC offer leading certification services, Building Regulations Schemes, products and support to electrical contractors and many other trades within the construction industry.

NiCEIC has been assessing the technical competence of electricians for over 50 years. Their aim is to protect everyone who uses electricity from unsafe electrical installations in their homes, places of work and elsewhere. To achieve this, they maintain a register of qualified, competent electricians like Purdy Contracts.

The organisation looks at a representative sample of the Purdy Contracts work, our premises, documentation, equipment, and the competence of our key supervisory staff. Purdy Contracts are also re-assessed by the NiCEIC on a regular basis to ensure high standards.

Enrolment with NiCEIC is voluntary, but electrical contractors like us who are competent and conscientious about the service we offer customers consider it a priority to enrol.
