CRB Checks

All of the staff at Purdy Contracts are CRB checked as part of our stringent pre-employment screening process. Those staff including managers who work in occupied premises and may come into contact with children and vulnerable adults are also Enhanced CRB checked.

The CRB is an executive agency of the Home Office and accesses the Children and Vulnerable Adults barred lists held by ISA (VBS) and the National & Local Police.  It is a means of supplying organisations like us with the information we legally need to enable us to make correct recruitment and placement decisions especially in positions involving children & the vulnerable (ie Protection of Children & Protection of Vulnerable Adults).
