This email is more than 6 months over due and l first would like to apologise sincerely to John Lord and his team for not sending it sooner.
It has been on my conscience ever since and so l write this letter with a warm hearted and grateful thanks.
During the summer of 2010, John Lord and his team named below rewired my flat in Church Lane, E17 and they were amazing. They went way over and beyond to ensure that l was happy with their work.

They were always polite and professional and clearly knew what they were doing, planned every stage of work and this gave me faith in their abilities.
What l did like is that they kept me informed with what they were doing and consulted me on where l wanted sockets etc and did the work to the highest/professional standard.
Due to me having laminate flooring they had to use trunking through the loft but kept this to a bare minimum and you could not even tell where they had put the wires.
Dan Bevan lead the team of guys each day and made the days they worked in my flat very enjoyable. Despite some slight difficulties they encountered along the way due to the old age of the flat, they always found a solution.
They even came after the works had been completed to check that l was still satisfied with the work and to ensure that all my electrics were okay and to me this after service is second to none. It is the small things that matter to residents and to make them feel valued goes along way in my view.
I would highly recommend John Lord and his team to any borough and l can honestly say that they are a credit to Purdy Contracts and if anyone required an electrician, then Purdy's would be at the top of the list in my view.

I am just writing to say about one of your workman, a young man by the name of Jamie came to my flat to fit a new boiler on Tuesday 29th of April and l was very pleased with his work. He never made any mess and he also left the place of work very clean and tidy. I think if there was workmen as good as him in every part of England maybe we wouldn't get a bad name so much. Anyway thank him for the job well done.

Re: Installation of Vaillant eco Tec boiler and new radiators - Mon 15.6.09 by Purdy sub contractors.
I feel l must write re the above and trust this letter finds you well.
The operatives did a fantastic job; very professional, clean and courteous. I am most impressed.
Also Gareth Bevan, Supervisor at Purdy Contracts has given the same level of service and been most helpful planning the best site for the boiler. He inspected the work at 4.30pm Monday and even though R&S had explained how to operate the system, the time to go through it all again before he left.
Shane of Purdy arrived Tuesday morning to fix pipework boxing back in place. Again as with all of the others, such pleasant, professional young men. Thanks also to the electrician (whoever he was) and anyone l have forgotten.
Last but not least, a big thank you to the Trust for this luxurious, efficient system. Hot water on tap, brilliant! I feel lucky to have some in my flat and am sure it will be cost effective with fewer call outs to your helpline.
Whilst writing l wish to praise them too. So helpful, pleasant, efficient, everyone l have dealt with and with particular praise for Lucy.
