Re: Fire at 147-213 Copperfield Limes Farm, Chigwell - 27th April

I am writing to offer the Council's thanks and appreciation for the valuable support and services provided by your company to the emergency response mounted by the Council in the aftermath of the fire at the block of flats and maisonettes at 147-213 Copperfield Chigwell.

Whilst the Council has had its fair share of emergencies over the past few years this incident was without doubt one of the most complicated logistical exercises we have faced.

The level of support provided by your company at such short notice has in no small way contributed to being able to allow 12 families back into their homes only two days after the fire.

The immediate response is now over but it will be some weeks before all the families are able to return home.

I shall be grateful if you would convey the Council's appreciation to all those involved.
