It is not often that l am given to writing letters of appreciation but having reviewed our first batch of resident feedback questionnaires relating to our electrical periodic test and upgrade programme l have felt compelled to do so.

We are not only extremely pleased with the ratings but are pleasantly surprised by the consistency of the very positive comments that so many of our residents took the time to write. This reflects extremely well on the quality of your frontline staff.

The above results are particularly welcome in light of the circumstances placed upon your electrical team in terms of the volume of work issued to them recently and the very short timescales involved.

Can you please ensure that all concerned are made aware of our appreciation and in particular Lee Venables for his ongoing support and dedication to offering Ascham Homes and it's residents an excellent service.

Dear Bob

Lime Court has been undergoing a complete upgrade of the electrical and lighting systems in the communal area and each individual flat.

Purdy have been doing the work which has taken almost 4 weeks. I just want to say that they have been absolutely brilliant. Jack who appears to be mainly in charge of the work done day to day has been especially good but the supervisor also has been on site regularly and made it his business to speak to each and every tenant.

It is rare to have such a long period of works in a building without one or two problems or complaints, but l can honestly say the tenants have been treated with the utmost respect and consideration, the place has been left clear, clean and tidy whilst working and all tools and equipment taken away each night and brought back each morning.

On occasions when they were not going to be on site l was given advance notice and before work each day or the night before l was informed where they would be working the next day.

I and the tenants have been very impressed with the standard of work and the thoughtful manner in which it has been carried out.

It is the tenants wish that you may be made aware of their satisfaction.
